the pace of change is accelerating with each new tool. Digital tools are
continuously developing which give teachers and students the potential to
adapt and change the way teaching and learning occurs. The eLearning centre within the Curriculum Management and eLearning department aims to be the hub of innovation and creativity and at the forefront to explore and exploit these tools. The eLearning centre is also committed to implement the ambitions of the National eLearning strategy and to ensure that "eLearning grows and develops for the benefit of all learners". |

The Department's eLearning activities, services and operations are far reaching and its activities are managed through various Units one managing the primary schools sector, another caters for all the secondary schools sector, the ECDL management also falls under the responsibilty of this centre. The Design and Technology Unit also forms an integral part of the eLearning centre. We have also joined in the E-twinning programme, co-ordinated by Ms Jeannette Cardona. In a nutshell all that is related to eLearning in education falls under the jurisdiction of this all important delivery arm within the Curriculum Management and eLearning Department. |
