Welcome to the Courses Unit site. This site is developed to offer a better contact between the unit and teachers, give better information about the courses we organise and offer online facility to apply, keep contact and give feedback regarding our service.

The Courses Unit within the Department for Curriculum Management and eLearning organises courses specifically aimed towards all teaching grades in Malta, whether in govermental, church or private schools. We offer a number of short courses ranging from beginners level to more advanced levels such as Advanced ECDL.  These courses are aimed to improve the ict skills of teachers and help them apply ICT in their lessons.  We try to provide a friendly environment, small groups and a sound pedagogical background.

These courses are all free of charge.  Candidates who wish to sit for ECDL exams will pay only for their exams.  Normally these courses are opened twice a year.  A session is held in winter and another in summer.  Applications can be accessed from the APPLY NOW page or from the circulars which are posted to schools.

Teachers are encouraged to participate in these courses.
